The simulator holds its last result in memory and loses it when the service restarts. Running one takes about half a minute on the largest corridor, and writes nothing anywhere.
The trial runs the deployed control laws — the same modules the live decision cycle calls — against a thousand buses on a 400 km corridor with ten holding points, across every way a corridor comes apart, in two phases that differ only in whether the objective weighs how many passengers are aboard. Every result is shown beside what the same day would have done with nobody intervening.
